Allen was trained as a science educator at Eastern Michigan University and has 15 years experience within diverse settings, including: k8 schools, high schools, virtual education, hybrid education models, and at the community college level. Allen obtained a masters degree in biology and is currently pursuing a second masters degree in applied data science with the school of information at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. He is passionate about using science and math to gain information to aid educators in decision making.
