Position Description

Munetrix is expanding its presence in states across the country and looking for an Account Executive with a track record of success in building a new product in a new territory. The Account Executive performs sales presentations, promotions, trade shows, seminars, and various sales-related duties necessary to achieve maximum sales.

  • Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.
  • Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $90,000 – $115,000 per year with on target expectation of $200,000+. Eligible employees may also receive stock options. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
  • Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote based out of your home office in Texas due to client visitation needs.
  • Travel: You can also expect up to 75% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 36 months.
  • Duties & Responsibilities:

    In this role you will be expected to:

    • Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
    • Develop sales strategies to meet assigned quotas.
    • Provide support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
    • Make cold calls or reach out to prospects.
    • Follow up with prospects several times throughout sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
    • Compile and analyze data to find trends.
    • Stay current on company offers and industry trends.
    • Maintain a database of contact information.
    • Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a world class customer experience.
    • Handle complaints and negotiations.
    • Attend trade shows, seminars, client events as needed.
    • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time at least 3 days/week, involving overnight travel.
    • Must maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License and a clear DMV record for the past 36 months.
  • Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Other Background:
    Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
    • 7-10 years of sales experience; with preference selling into K-12 Districts.
    • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time at least 3 days/week, involving overnight travel.
    • Must maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License and a clear DMV record for the past 36 months.
    • Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends or ability to quickly learn.
    • Drive and energy to create new opportunities and a track record of meeting/exceeding quota
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
    • Strong time management skills with ability multi-task and meet demanding deadlines.
    • Computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software.
